Rockies Down Under Shakuhachi Camp

Nearly three full days of workshops. Hands on practice. This pre-Festival event will be a combination of The Shakuhachi Summer Camp of the Rockies, The Australian Shakuhachi Festival, The Hawaii Shakuhachi Festival, and The European Shakuhachi Summer School. “APRA Shakuhachi Chamber Music Concert”
Afternoon concert for the general public; evening concert for WSF08 participants. This concert will feature mostly modern works, including world premiers, for shakuhachi and string quartet, etc. Second half will present compositions entirely by Australian composers.
