Nearly three full days of workshops. Hands on practice. This pre-Festival event will be a combination of The Shakuhachi Summer Camp of the Rockies, The Australian Shakuhachi Festival, The Hawaii Shakuhachi Festival, and The European Shakuhachi Summer School. Afternoon concert for the general public; evening concert for WSF08 participants. This concert will feature mostly modern works, including world premiers, for shakuhachi and string quartet, etc. Second half will present compositions entirely by Australian composers.
