Travel & Accommodation

The Festival has engaged a travel agent in Australia who specialises in taking care of the needs of touring ensembles, and large groups from Japan and the USA.

It is hoped that WSF08 will be able to offer special group airfare and accommodation rates. Airfare and/or accommodation can be booked through the WSF08 travel agent or booked individually.

PLEASE NOTE: WSF08, through ID Tours, has optained the best possible prices for Sydney hotel accommodation and add-on tours. Please book through the links provided on this page if possible. Doing so not only gives you the best deals, it also helps support the Festival!

Ample accommodation can be found within walking distance from the SCM venue ranging from five-star to backpacker/dormitory style. Registrants may choose to pay only the Festival registration fee.

Participants from Japan will be able to take advantage of a number of package deals through Qantas Holidays International. Tour groups will be leaving from Narita and Kansai Airports. These package deals, which will include travel, accommodation and registration fees, will be listed on the website soon.
